Dick was licensed to practice in Minnesota in 1978. He received his
undergraduate education at the University of Northern Colorado and completed law
school at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. Prior to law school, he
worked for the St. Paul Companies as an advanced underwriter in their estate and
business planning department. After law school, he obtained his Chartered Life Underwriters certificate in 1981 and his Chartered Financial Consultant
certificate in 1983.
Dick has been practicing in the areas of Estate and Business Planning,
Probate and Real Estate for 25 years.
Dick is very active in professional association, including the 6th District
and Minnesota State Bar Associations, Charted Life Underwriters, Chartered
Financial Consultants, and Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Dick has been involved in many Community Organizations including the
Salvation Army Board, Twin Valley Scouts Board, EduCare Foundation, Leave A
Legacy and many Church Committees. He has been an adjunct faculty member at
Minnesota State University teaching courses in business law and real estate.
