Dick was licensed to practice in Minnesota in 1978. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Colorado and completed law school at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. Prior to law school, he worked for the St. Paul Companies as an advanced underwriter in their estate and business planning department. After law school, he obtained his Chartered Life Underwriters certificate in 1981 and his Chartered Financial Consultant certificate in 1983.
Margaret was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1996 and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in 2005. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law. While in Law School, Margaret served as Managing Editor the Hamline Law Review. She is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and Political Science.
Dan was raised on a small family farm in Southern Minnesota where he learned the value of hard work and responsibility while gaining a strong appreciation for rural and small town living. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan was a small business owner, worked as a consultant, and spent four years at the Minnesota Senate working on transportation and other issues. When not practicing law, Dan spends time with his family, enjoys outdoor activities and anything related to aviation and flying. Dan attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Dan is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (Business and Real Property Law Sections), the Sixth District Bar Association, as well as the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota, and U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota.
